Full Description
The Chofetz Chaim on Bemidbar and the Five Megillos Sefer Bemidbar deals with the forty-year period when the Jewish people wandered in the desert. This was a time full of miracles: their food, the man (manna), fell from heaven their water came from the well of Miriam, which traveled with them. It also deals with the trials they experienced throughout this period: the machlokes of Korach, the incident of the spies, the sin at Kivros HaTa'avah. The Chofetz Chaim on Bemidbar actualizes these lessons of faith until they become part of our lives and teach us to learn how to conduct ourselves when we are faced with the tests life brings us. Among the five megillos, Koheles is a major part of the Chofetz Chaim's writings, in which he uses parables to convey his messages. His commentary on Koheles is full of these penetrating parables, which illuminate many difficult to understand passages. May the powerful messages conveyed in the Chofetz Chaim's writings be internalized in our beings. Translated by Raphael Blumberg
