Full Description
It;s easy to bring Bible stories to life with origami.A whale can swallow Jonah, simply by folding two paper squares.
Origami is the art of making shapes and figures by folding paper, usually without any cutting or gluing. The projects featured in this book are suited for family activities, Bible School and everyday fun. Children can fold the figures themselves or an adult can fold them ahead of time. Use the paper figures to illustrate a story or give them as gifts.
If you are teaching origami to children, always practice by yourself several times beforehand. It's a good idea to demonstrate with a bigger piece of paper because it can be seen more easily by everyone in the class. The paper has to be the same shape as those used by the students but the folding steps remain exactly the same. Use the wording given in the instructions, as they have been tested for clarity.
Origami is fun and provides a welcome opportunity to reinforce the teachings of the Bible.
