Full Description
Effie is sickly and shy. He wants to fit in with the other boys, to play in their games and run strong and healthy. Effie and his mother have come to the Hillview Guesthouse in the mountains for him to get better. Baruch, a strong active boy, is not in school. Always blamed for everything, he's angry -- yet every night he helps his mother wash the big heavy pots in the guesthouse kitchen. When they try to become friends, Effie discovers that Baruch has secrets. Who is the owner of the red sports car that appears one night in the woods?
