Peninim, which is prepared and edited by Rabbi A.L. Scheinbaum, originated as a community service project for the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland. Exploring Parshat Hashavua, weekly copies of Peninim were distributed throughout the entire community. It is currently in its sixteenth year and enjoying an international distribution network.
Rabbi Scheinbaum selects Torah thoughts from a host of commentaries, ranging from the classic to the contemporary. Peninim maintains an emphasis upon the centrality of Torah study and middos. The author's incisive flair for integrating these ideas into everyday situations is evident throughout this dynamic work.
