The Gold family is experiencing some technical difficulties with their stay in Israel: Mrs. Tuna, their neighbor, has placed a curse on the entire family, "until the Messiah comes!" the Jerusalem Eagle - the only one of its kind - has taken up residence in Benjy's hair. Aunt Queenie has come to destroy whatever sanity Mrs. Gold has left. The Islamic Museum is robbed, and Jake, Izzy, and Ruth have the only clues to the robber's identity, and they - the robbers - know it. And that's just for starters!
