It includes the follwoing yeshivot: Volozhin, Mirrer Yeshiva, Slabodka, Radun, Telz, Lomza, Kleck, Novardok, Slonim, Grodno, Kamenitz, Kobrim and Baranovitz. The book also depicts important personalities such as Gaon of Vilna, Rabbi Israel Salanter, Rabbi Israel Meir Kagan, Rabbi Joseph Yehudah Bloch, and Rabbi Nathan Zvi Finkel who had an impact on the yeshiva world.
