Shira Chadasha Boys Choir just released their 2nd album titled Areivim Ze Lazeh. Composed and conducted by Nachman Seltzer, arranged mainly by Jeff Horvitch with one song by Leib Yaacov Rigler.
After a three year break they are back with a brand new album with twelve new songs and a medley of old songs from Dvekus composed by Abie Rotenberg. The thirteenth song is entitled Yizkerem and was composed by Nachman Seltzer in the memory of the boys from Mercaz Harav, on the day after the attack.
With star soloists Yaacov Leebhoff, Moishe Bell (from Sheves Achim) and Simcha Levinstein (mini Helfgot) and songs that range in style from yeshivish, to hora, to rock, to disco, to heartzig, to techno, this album has something for everyone.
Since the first album they have performed all around Israel, from Heichal Tarbut in Tel Aviv to Binyanei Hauma and Jerusalem Theater in Yerushalayim. They have sung on Yaacov Shwekey's album and with Lipa and with Dovid Gabay and with Shloimy Daskal and with Avraham Fried in concert. In short, they are the top choir in Eretz Yisroel.
