The Hebrew and English text in the center is Biblical verse from King Solomon's wisdom Ani Ledodi Vedodi Li ("I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine").
The fringes are made from metal and glass beads and the mounting rod is made from brass pipe with brass finials.
