Chasing Dreams

I wake up with a start, drenched in cold sweat. Still shaking, I grope around in the darkness for the light switch and turn it on. The bedroom is suddenly bathed in a golden light. Settling back onto my bed, I take slow, deep, calming breaths. It was just a dream. But what if it’s true? What if I’m really stuck in this life forever? What if I never see my parents again? Life was wonderful and predictable for Tehilla Steinhart — until one day she woke up in a completely unfamiliar world. Everyone she’s ever known has disappeared and the only thing familiar to her is her own face. After much searching and confusion, she comes to realize that there’s something going on that is much more complicated than she could have ever imagined. Thrust into a situation that turned her life upside down, Tehilla is forced to confront herself and rediscover what she didn’t even know was lost. Things will never be the same again. But maybe that’s not so bad.
