Living Chessed for Children

Chessed means... being sensitive to other people’s feelings, like the Gerrer Rebbe was giving sad people hope, like Rav Shmuel Auerbach did taking care of people you know – and even people you don’t know – like Rav Aharon Leib would do We all want to be people who do chesed for others. And of course, we want to teach our children to be kind, caring, and sensitive to other people’s needs. What better way to gently inculcate lessons of caring and compassion into young readers than by stories designed especially for children by a master children’s writer?
