What's this?
More than just a commentary on the Haggadah, this work is a meditation on Jewish identity. October 7, 2023, shattered our illusion of security as Jews living among the nations. In its aftermath, the Jewish community is undergoing an existential crisis, struggling to find its place in a world we no longer recognize.
Every year on Pesach, we relive our national birth. So, if we want to understand who we are, we must look to the Haggadah. Combining rigorous Talmudic analysis with a candid sociological eye, this thoughtful elucidation of the Haggadah reveals how the timeless words of Chazal illuminate, in every generation, what it means to be a Jew.
