Alef Beis Laces Cards

Bring the warmth of Yiddish, mitzvah life, and the Alef‑Beis into your child’s world with אב Laces, a beautifully designed learning kit by Mitzvah Family.
This set includes 22 double‑sided lace cards, each featuring a Hebrew letter on one side and a delightful Yiddish‑themed illustration on the other — such as Daled with Dolly and Dreidel, Mem with Matzah, Lamed with Lulav, and more.

The double‑association method helps children remember letters more easily by linking them to familiar objects, mitzvos, and Jewish culture. Instead of flat flashcards, each letter becomes a character or scene that sparks imagination and invites storytelling.

Children lace around the letters using safe colorful shoestring lace, strengthening fine‑motor skills and hand‑eye coordination while enjoying a calming, hands‑on activity. As they grow, אב Laces evolves with them from simple lacing to letter recognition, sequencing, and matching letters to Yiddish words and mitzvah themes.

Lightweight, durable, and beautifully illustrated, this kit is perfect for home learning, classroom use, travel, or quiet Shabbos play. It’s a meaningful, screen‑free way to nurture Jewish identity, language, and creativity.

A thoughtful gift for birthdays, upsherins, Chanukah, or any child beginning their Alef‑Beis journey.
