Engaging God

For thousands of years, Jewish men have worn tefillin each day, yet this ancient mitzvah can easily become hurried and routine. Engaging God invites readers to rediscover tefillin as a meaningful encounter with Hashem.

Drawing from Tanach, Chazal, halachah, Kabbalah, and Chassidus, the author translates profound ideas into practical avodah, helping transform the daily mitzvah of tefillin into a moment of greater awareness, meaning, and connection.

"To truly wrap one's mind, body, and heart in Hashem's eternal love requires deeper awareness. Rabbi Pill masterfully uncovers the depth and transformative opportunity within this most foundational mitzvah."
Rabbi Yaakov Danishefsky, Therapist and founder of Avodas HaLev of Chicago, Illinois

"Our generation needs deeper Torah that gives us the opportunity to see our world in a way that keeps us connected and deepens our connection. Rabbi Pill's sefer embodies this movement."
