Among the treasured Midrashim transmitted to us by our Sages, Tanna DeVei Eliyahu [“The Teaching of the Academy of Eliyahu”] occupies a unique place. This work is a compilation of the teachings of Eliyahu HaNavi that he personally conveyed to the Amora Rav Anan. Throughout the generations, great Torah leaders have drawn from its wisdom, and to this day, many continue the custom of studying it each Motza’ei Shabbos.
