About the author:
Rabbi Menashe Bleiweiss is the founder of Yeshivas Emek Davar (emekdavar.com), a new yeshiva in Ramat Beit Shemesh Daled, where he lives with his wife, children, and grandchildren. For over thirty years, he has taught and inspired students in leading yeshivos, most recently serving as senior rebbi at Derech–Ohr Somayach (2008–2025). He is widely recognized for his dynamic teaching in Talmud, Jewish history, hashkafah, and contemporary issues.
Beyond the classroom, Rabbi Bleiweiss is a licensed tour guide in Israel and Europe, known for bringing the Jewish People’s heritage and history vividly to life at its original sites. He directed Ner LeElef’s Campus Kiruv Program and maintains a private family therapy practice. In addition, he has contributed to Jewish thought and culture through writing, editing, and music. His work includes serving on the domestic violence division at Neve Yerushalayim’s Family Institute, editing the Jewish Spectator quarterly, and producing and performing an album of adapted and arranged Jewish songs (available on major platforms).
